What is Welfie?

Welfie is the PictureWealth app that brings your money to life. It connects your accounts, documents, and personal details to your adviser so the conversations you have at review time are grounded in your real, current situation, not paperwork from six months ago

What Welfie does for you

Welfie sits between you and your Picture Wealth adviser in three places — your financial picture, your reviews, and your paperwork. The app is organised around those three areas:

Welfie (home tab): your real-time financial picture.

  • Your net worth at the top, with assets and liabilities tabs underneath to drill in.
  • Link your bank accounts, super, and investments to keep balances current automatically, or add things manually if you'd rather (property, vehicles, home contents).
  • See your retirement outlook — a quick read on whether you're tracking toward a comfortable retirement, with stats and insights you can talk through with your adviser.
  • Book your annual review with your usual adviser, reschedule if you need to, or choose a different adviser from the list.
  • Work through Your details before each review — a guided flow covering your personal information, finances, protection, and obligations — so your adviser has the latest picture ahead of the meeting.
  • See your upcoming review at a glance with a View my prep link when you're getting close.
  • Review and sign documents your adviser needs from you — service agreements, third-party authorities, adviser nomination forms, Statements of Advice, Records of Advice, and more.
  • Signing is handled through Annature, our secure signing partner — no printing, scanning, or PDFs to wrangle.
  • Welfie can't move money. Connected accounts are read-only — we can see your balances but we can't transfer, deposit, or pay anything. See Why should I connect my accounts in Welfie?
  • Photo and file uploads aren't supported in the app yet. If you've been asked to send through a driver's licence photo or another document, your adviser will let you know the right channel to use. See Sending us your ID, license photo, or other documents.
  • The numbers in Welfie are a starting point for advice, not advice itself. Your retirement outlook and dashboard give you a clear view of where you are; your adviser is the person who turns that into a plan for you.

Behind the three tabs, Settings (tap your initials in the top-left corner) covers profile and contact details, your financial accounts, security (passkey), offline access, and privacy and consent.

Who Welfie is for

Welfie is the app for clients of Picture Wealth. Anyone can find and install it from the App Store or Google Play, but only Picture Wealth clients can sign in — the sign-in screen needs the email address that's on your client file.

If you're a Picture Wealth client and haven't used Welfie yet, your adviser will let you know when it's ready for you. If you're not a Picture Wealth client and you're curious about working with us, you can get in touch through picturewealth.com or call us on 1300 471 314.

Is Welfie free?

Yes — there's no cost to use the Welfie app. The advice you receive through Picture Wealth is covered by your existing service agreement with your adviser; Welfie is the way you interact with that service.
